Decided to make the switch over to Tumblr, where I will continue regular post. My new blog is called "Suburban Selection." The name stems from our lives growing up in the suburbs of Philadelphia trying to make the most out of what the suburbs has to offer for skateboarding and whatever other interest we've had over the years.

A clip of some warm-ups and offcuts over the few years we filmed for Framework. It's pretty funny to see the clothing changes over the years. When I started filming with Joey I thought of him as a jumping down gaps/rails little kid. As we filmed and he grew up a little bit that completely changed. He's really capable of anything at this point, no matter what kind of skating it is. Every few weeks we were cutting footage we thought we were saving because he kept getting better and one upping himself. I tried to edit the footage chronologically to show that transition in his skating. So this is a clip of some warm-ups and offcuts over the few years I filmed with Joey for Framework.

I'm pretty sure neither Penny or Tore even knew they had a part. Most of this was filmed during random sessions at Wedgewood as they were finishing up "Sabotage 2", which they both had amazing parts in (Tore / Brian). Check out Penny and Ryan Higgins latest full length video "Sabotage 3". It's an amazing video and I'm really psyched I was able to contribute some footage for it.

I'm sure it's been done plenty of times but I really haven't seen any over the past 12 years I've been skateboarding. Flip "Sorry" was a pretty big video for us a few years before this and Rick got the idea for this trick after watching Bastien Salabanzi's part with his kickflip crossfoot over a few stairs in the beginning of his part. Definitely more of a funny trick but either way we all thought it was awesome and Rick did it pretty easily.

based on a series of paintings she created for her show "Novelties". The style of the animation is inspired by ice cream trucks, hand-painted signage, and some of Courtney's signature symbols, patterns, and colors. The animation started to get real hip hop so I just went with it.

Really hyped on this clip. So sick to see Ambler and the local guys like Tore, Adam, Penny and Mike. Jesse Clayton has been doing some really great stuff and Chris Mulhern has been making some great edits for so long now. It would be amazing to get Jesse and 5th pocket involved with the Lansdale skatepark thats supposed to happening soon.
