Extra Tricks (7/15-19/09)

Wednesday me and Pat McCullion met up at the Souderton Highschool. He got a sick run down the 5 and 4. That place is gonna be torn down soon so he wants to try something down the 11.

Thursday me and Kyle Schmidt hit up Collin Fegal's mini ramp again. We had a good session. Then we headed over to wedge to meet up with Pat McCullion. Kyle got a good grind to manny combo on the new ledge and Pat got a nice flip trick on the big bank.

Friday I skated wedge with Pat Owens, Pat McCullion, Jeff Colombo and Cory Quigley. Jeff got a sick trick on the new ledge over the manny pad and Pat McCullion got a sick line on the marble pad and the white bench. Cory got real close to a sick trick over the trashcan but couldnt put it down.

Saturday I we were supposed to go to king of prussia to skate but I was an idiot friday night and was sick all day saturday. I met up with Erik Mangal, Ryan Koons, Tore Bevivino, Collin Bauder and Anthony Krystopa at wedge. We had a good sesh and played some games of skate.

Sunday we had a big crew and we skated this spot in audubon. It was myself, Jimmy Simpson, Kevin Pham, Erik Mangal, Collin Bauder, Anthony Krstopa, Evan, Matt Powell, Joey Christoffers, Joey Paone, Cory Quigley and Collin Welch. There was a couple of things to skate there. There was a pole jam onto a cement platform and then a metal barrier you could do tricks over. There is a pretty big gap thats intimidating too. Nick Dompierre tre flipped it. check the clip at 10 seconds.

Matt Powell ollied the gap, Collin got a fs 180 over the gap and Joey Christoffers got a bs 180. Erik got a good trick over the metal barrier. Jimmy and Collin welch got close to some good lines with the pole jam and a trick over the barrier. Later on Me, Jimmy, Kevin Pham and Cory skated at circuit city. Kevin got the most perfect hardflip down the gap! Overall it was a fun weekend.

John Provencher "Collective"

Heres John Provencher's part from our video "Collective" from 2008. John really improved with this video from our last one "Creatures of Habit" from 2007. There are a lot of tricks that stuck out to me in this part. We had a lot of fun making this video. I liked all of John's tricks on the bank at wedge. They really inspired me to learn that kind of stuff. I remember being really surprised at how easy he did the 5-0 to fakie on the merck banks.

I always liked the way he backtailed the wedge quarterpipe. Hes the only one I know who could slide them like that. I really liked John's boardslide pop out tricks. Me and him were always into that stuff. John's feeble to fakie and back smith on the barrier in philly were awesome. That spot was hard to skate cause theres no runway and you have to run through a busy street and jump on your board to get speed. John's kickflip bs smith was so sick. He had gotten close so many times and that day it just worked out. Jimmy landed his smith kickflip out the same day.

My favorite thing I filmed of John was his kickflip back tail line at wedge. I was filming Pat Owens doing a line and John asked if he could try something and he got the line first try! I had seen him come close to that trick before but to see him get it in a line like that was awesome. We were all really excited about that.

Check John's "Creatures Of Habit" part, Extra's part from our video "Collective" and a mini ramp clip we made on these links

5-0 to fakie. He made this look easy on a hard spot.

I could watch john do these all day.

John and Miz thought it would be a good idea if john rode the wheel over him haha.

He wore these sunglasses all the time haha

feeble to fakie. We went back to this a little while after cause he wanted to try and grind it got taken down. This was a hard to skate spot but really cool.

Fs Smith. These ledges are so griddy. this trick is really hard on them.

Extra Tricks (8/15-16/09)

A really fun weekend of skating. Thursday Matt Powell filmed 2 sick lines at wedge before he had to leave for school. Saturday we started the day out at wedge. Alex Robinson and Pat McCullion got real close to some nice grinds on the ledges at wedge. Then we went to the green street rail. Alex was getting real close to a bs 5050 and Joey O'brien was getting close to a front board. Right as they were getting close to landing their tricks this old guy started yelling at us saying "This is not what I pay taxes for!"

After that Joey and his little brother mikey took us to the inglewood 8 stair rail. The rail is pretty high and it lands right into the grass. Joey had a skinny piece of a wood to land on. After taking some pretty hard falls into the grass Joey got a front board and Chop got a bs 5-0.

After that we headed to the Circuit City gap. Pat McCullion and my brother Jimmy met up with us. Joey O'brien got a perfect heelflip and Pat McCullion got a really nice 360 flip. Jimmy was getting really close to a switch fs bigspin but landed on the curb one try and rolled his ankle.

Finally we went to the Merck Banks. I got really close to 5-0 revert but I kept getting stuck coming back down. After that we called it a day.

Sunday me, Alex Robinson, Tyler Lindsey and Kevin Pham went to perkasie. We started out at the perkasie park. We had a good sesh on the mini ramp. After that we went to the bank in perkasie. Alex was getting really close to bs 5050 this rail and popping out early to avoid the curb at the bottom of the rail. Right as he was getting used to it a cop rolled up and kicked us out.

Then we went to Pennride highschool. Chop found this rail next to a ledge similar to the one at drexel in philly. He did a front board and a sick front feeble on it. Then we headed over to the Giant and Kevin showed us this nice 6 stair right behind the store. Kevin landed on kickflip 5 or 6 times but didnt ride away.

Then we headed back to pennridge and had a good sesh on the two 3 stairs in a row. Erik met up with us and we went back to the 6 stair. Erik got a fs 180 and Chop got a bs pop shuvit. Then we spot searched a little bit and called it a day.

No skate photos on this trip cause I was either skating or filming and my photographer erik mangal wasnt there til later! Tyler found this dead butterfly so I took a photo of it. I thought it looked really nice.

Sorry theres not many landed tricks in this one. All the other tricks were gonna save for the video. featuring Billy Simpson, Alex Robinson, Kevin Pham, Erik Mangal, and Jimmy Simpson. Jimmy rolled his ankle trying the switch fs bigspin so he couldnt skate the next spot. Instead he decided to impersonate the cicada we found on the ground haha.

Extra Tricks (8/8-9/09)

Me and Jimmy got back from a nice vacation in Ocean City, New Jersey on Friday the 7th. Saturday the 8th was a good day of skating. We started out at wedge. Collin got a sick trick on the quaterpipe second try. Then him and Joey O'brien skated the transfer from the blue ramp onto the big bank at wedge. Joey was doing these super tweaked out early grab stalefish and Collin was getting these really nice indy grabs. Nate and Matt Powell got really close to some crazy grinds on the little ledge.

Me, Collin and Ant checkin out Collins trick.

hopefully someday I will actually have photos of myself skating.

After that Dustin and Joey took us to this sick gap across from the merck banks. Dustin and Collin ollied it and Joey O'brien killed it. He ollied it, Roastbeefed it, fs 180d it and kickflipped it in about 15 minutes.

Everybody checkin out the gap

Later on we went to the gas boy gap near wedge. Anthony Krystopa landed on a kickflip a bunch of times but didnt roll away. Dustin was getting really close to bs heelflip. Collin was trying a switch flip and was having trouble rolling away from it. Then Dustins mom called and said that him and Collin should come home because they has roastbeef sandwhiches waiting for them. Dustin told Collin about the sandwhiches and that he should land it so they can go eat. Collin landed it the next try haha

After that Joey Christoffers showed up after he got out of work late. I guess he was pretty hyper so he tried to ollie off the dumpster near the gap. He got real close but he snapped his brand new board.

Sunday it rained most of the day but when it cleared up me, Matt Powell, Brian Panebianco and Zach Panebianco tried to go skate Norristown. Brian took us to the courthouse. There was some sick stuff to skate there. Zach wanted to try this super kinked rail that went down the side of this wall and some stairs. To warm up for it he set his board up on the rail and just dropped and grinded the whole thing haha. I thought that was sick in itself. He started grinding through the first kink but kept losing his balance mid way through. Right as he was getting used to it the rain started coming down and he had to stop. A few more tries and he would have had it. After that Brian showed us around Norristown showing us some spots that were in videos. Then we just called it a day.

Extra Tricks (7/25-26/09)

Saturday was a really fun day. We had a big crew go to the dustbowls in King of Prussia. Everybody was killin it on all the differet stuff there is to skate there. Jimmy got a nice wallride on the smaller section of the dustbowls and he got a sick trick on the ledge on top of the bank. Me and Cory got some tricks on the sketchy quaterpipe where the entrance is. Kevin Pham got real close to frontside wallriding the smaller wall. That trick is really hard. Chop got some cool stuff on the rigged up pole jam. Pat McCullion got a sick bomb drop off the wall into the bank. That looked really scary. The wall is about 6 1/2 feet high and the highway is right on the other side. Pat and Tyler lindsay got real close to taildropping it too. Then we got some food and got lost a good 6 times coming home cause im an idiot. But overall it was a really fun trip

Sunday me and kyle hit up collin Fegals ramp again in the morning. I love that thing. Then we headed over to wedge for a little. A bunch of us went over to the prudential rail. It was pretty sick seein everybody try some stuff on the rail. Chop, Matt Powell and Tore Bevivino landed some tricks. Chop and Collin got really close to some good tricks and Matt was trying this ridiculous trick but we got kicked out before any of them could land it. were gonna go back soon.

After that we went to some random spots. Tore took us to these plastic planters that were pretty cool. He found one spot we the ledges kind of turned. He got a sick back tail through the turn and Pat Owens got a nice half cab noseslide on it.

Then we Tore took us to this giant three block thing. It was really surprising to see this. It looked like something that would be in Arizona or something. The very top stair has grass on it so you cant skate it but you can skate the two stairs and you have to clear the bricks at the bottom. Its pretty big. Chop, Matt Powell, Collin Bauder and Tore Bevivino ollied it. Tore switch ollied it no problem. Collin tried to kickflip and did a nice split, so he was out for the day.

Tore took us to another spot that had this random gap over this metal structure at the end of some railroad tracks. It was pretty cool looking. Matt Powell got a nice ollie over it. After that we pretty much called it a day.

Watch in High Quality

Heres a clip from that weekend featuring Cory Quigley, Billy Simpson, Alex Robinson, Collin Bauder and Tore Bevivino. The Quarterpipe thing at the dustbowls was really fun. Me and Cory skated that for a while. The pole jam that chop does was set up perfectly. Cory and Chop were flying off it haha.

The last few tricks are some random footage I found featuring Blake Wetherington and Joey Paone doing some doubles on the quaterpipe, Collin Bauder doing a sick noseslide 270, Tore Bevivino takin a hard slam and Brian Panebianco doing his ridiculous tailslide 270s. He can do them every try.

Pat McCullion taildrop attempt. He landed a bomb drop or caveman whatever you wanna call it. but he wanted to do a taildrop too.

Pat McCullion settin up to jump off the wall. The highway was right behind him too. People were beeping at him while he was up there.

Kevin, Cory and Chop haha

Creatures of Habit Intro

This is the intro to our video "Creatures Of Habit". I was remember being really excited about this when Jimmy first made it. I still like to watch it. I love the vines growing and the small blocks of different videos going at once. We had a lot of fun making this video.
