Heres some extra tricks were not using in "Framework" Featuring John Provencher, Cory Quigley, Joey Christoffers, Jimmy Simpson, Collin Bauder, Joey O'Brien, Tore Bevivino and Dustin Detweiler.
Been filming pretty regularly. Good seeing some old faces at wedgewood now that it's getting nicer out. The past couple of weekends we filmed at a few handrail spots and I was blown away by Joey O'Brien and Cory Quigley's skating. Kinda crazy I wasn't sure if either of them were gonna have full parts in "Framework" and now they both have about 3 minutes of footage each. The trick Joey did on the smaller Great Valley rail is definitely up there with the tricks I've seen pros do in videos. Everything he tried on the bigger rail was first try. The line he did on the 2 rails was perfect.
I always think of Kerry Getz line in Photosynthesis at 2:09 when I go to that spot.
Thanks to Tore for letting me know how to get to this rail in Warminster that him and Kevin Leidtke killed in this sabotage clip filmed by Ryan Higgins. I didn't know how Joey and Cory were gonna do anything Tore and Kevin didn't already do but they managed to do some really sick stuff on the bigger rail that I haven't seen.
Heres a screen grab of Corys 5050 on the Warminster rail.
We tried to come up with some different setups at wedge. One was setting up the white bench in front of the manny pad. John Provencher got a backtail to backtail from the white bench to the plastic and Collin Bauder got a front tail to front tail. The other set up Joey Christoffers came up with was to launch over the manny pad to the barrier. Joey O'Brien got a first try gap to 5-0 and Collin Bauder got a gap to front board. Tore kickflipped over the barrier off the metal kicker probably 10 times til he got one he liked.
Heres some other angles that my friend Austin from wedgewood filmed on his phone of Collin and Joey's tricks on the barrier.
